The Vice President for Governmental Affairs is charged with monitoring, and advocating for student interests in Higher Education policy and decisions at the federal, state, and local level. In addition, the VP for GA is in charge of maintaining SG’s Constitution and Bylaws and overseeing. With the support of the internal Governmental Affairs Committee, the VP for GA oversees the student organization recognition, appeals, and de-recognition, as well as approving organizations’ constitutional amendments.
